Hello, thank you in advance for your help. Why I am looking into this now : My car is getting older. I was thinking ahead to when I might need to sell or trade it in. I wanted to make sure everything with the title was in order. I live in Florida and the titles are electronic. I had my name legally changed in XXXX. I was told it automatically changed on my electronic title when I updated it for my registration. I have XXXX ( genuinely ), so I decided to double check that my name was correct so if it wasn't, I could correct it well in advance of a possible transfer in the distant future. When I look up my XXXX, it showsPAPER TITLE WITH LIEN with the lien holder XXXXXXXX XXXX lien date XX/XX/XXXX. My car should show an electronic title without a lien. So, here is the story/timeline. XXXX : I bought my car XX/XX/XXXX with a loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX My car was new, it is a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The amount financed was {$25000.00}, with payments set to begin XX/XX/XXXX. I have the original signing documents, and I have my original paper title that lists Sun XXXXXXXX XXXX as the lien holder with the address XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TN XXXX Unfortunately, I can not find the paperwork that shows this, so I do not know the exact date. But, soon after I purchased the car, I received notice that XXXX XXXX XXXX sold my car loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX with an address of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX I did not receive an updated paper title. This is only semi-related, but Im including it for the timeline. In XXXX, I legally changed my middle and last name. My request was granted XX/XX/XXXX. My paper title still says my old middle and last name. My registration, license, everything else has my current legal name. I have certified copies of my name change judgement. Uncomfortable to share, but in XXXX, I became extremely depressed and missed several payments on my car loan, which led to incredibly fast repossessionby XXXX XXXX in XXXX, FL. Only my XXXX credit report has information available on this still, and it is limited. It says the account was owned by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( I have never had an account with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ) address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, TX XXXX and gives a partial account number. I did see some complaints on XXXX that XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) took over XXXX XXXX, but I have no way of knowing this to be accurate ). It reports my last payment date was XX/XX/XXXX. The day my car was repossessed/voluntarily surrendered, I called XXXX XXXX and XXXX immediately XXXX I paid my car loan off in full over the phone with XXXX XXXX, and I redeemed my car from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX representative XXXX XXXX. I have my redemption receipt from XXXX. They have not responded to any of my attempts to contact them to see if they could offer any help to resolve the title situation. After paying the remainder of the loan off, I very quickly received a letter from XXXX XXXX with a notice date of XX/XX/XXXX that confirmed I paid my loan in full and that the lien on my vehicle had been released. I called their customer service, they assured me they released the title to XXXX. I did not check any further, because I assumed everything had been taken care of, which is a mistake I will never make again. To summarize the documents I have : Original car loan agreement Original paper title Name change judgment XXXX redemption certificate XXXX XXXX confirmation letter saying I have paid my account in full and the lien has been released from my vehicle I have gone to my county 's Tax Collector 's office ( acts as our DMV ). I was then directed to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was then directed to Civil Matters. I was then directed to XXXX XXXX 's XXXX 's office but told I needed to find another county 's Declaration of Judgment form, cross out that county 's name, fill in my current county 's name, fill out the form, and then pay {$300.00} to have the case looked at. Please help. I am happy to provide my full name/previous name, my XXXX XXXX anything else needed that is personal information.

We had a loan transferred from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX and serviced through CSC Logic Inc. We paid off the loan years but the lien was never released. Now CSC Logic Inc. is out of business so there is no one to contact to get the lien released so we can get the title. We've also contacted XXXX and not getting anywhere with them.

Loan was opened in XX/XX/XXXX. Payments made monthly on time and never late. Final payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX. I have requested the title as well as a lien release form. Company is not responding. Websites ( XXXX ) is no longer in service. Phone numbers are disconnected ( XXXX ). In order for the state of GA to release my title to me, I need a regulatory agency to confirm this company is no longer operating.
