I am writing to formally dispute several unauthorized hard inquiries that have appeared on my credit report. I have contacted the companies listed and even sent certified letters, yet I have received little to no helpful response. Many of the phone numbers listed are disconnected, and the companies have failed to provide the documentation that proves I authorized these inquiries, such as a signed credit application or contract. Additionally, I believe I am being confused with another individualspecifically, my father, with whom I share the same full name. I am the " XXXX '' ( or " XXXX '' ), and our identities are being mixed in the credit reporting system. This has caused major issues when cashing checks, opening accounts, and accessing services, and has significantly impacted my financial well-being. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I am requesting the following actions be taken : Remove all unauthorized or unverified hard inquiries from my credit report. Correct the mixed file issue and ensure that only my credit activity appears on my report. Provide documentation of all reinvestigation results within 30 days, as required by law. Enclosed is a copy of my government-issued ID and a recent utility bill for verification purposes. Also included are screenshots or printouts of the inquiries and accounts in question. If I do not receive a timely and proper resolution, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ).
