I am filing a complaint against Advantage Auto Sales in XXXX, IL regarding improper handling of my personal information and excessive contact. The company has sent my financial documents to an incorrect address, which raises serious privacy concerns. Additionally, I have received approximately XXXX calls along with emails and messages since XX/XX/year>, which I believe constitutes excessive and harassing communication. I have requested correction of my address and limitation of communication in writing. I am seeking Confirmation that my information is being handled correctly An end to excessive contact A reasonable resolution option for my auto loan balance
Problem with the interest rate

I am a former XXXX XXXX servicemember and invoked my rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( SCRA ) with Advantage Auto Sales regarding my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX auto loan. I formally requested that my interest rate on this pre-service debt be reduced to the XXXX % cap retroactively, but they have not done so. Ive also requested the original loan documents from them, and theyve ignored me time and again. I have paid over {$14000.00} toward this vehiclemore than 250 % of its current market valueyet they claim I still owe {$10000.00}, which is over 500 % of the cars value. I also requested the release of the title due to their violations of federal laws, and their blatant disregard of scra procedures for service members, but of course I was ignored. Despite my written notices, they continue sending collection emails. They are in violation of the XXXX and engaging in unfair or abusive lending and collection practices. I am requesting a retroactive interest rate adjustment to 6 %, refund of overpaid interest, release of the title, and cessation of collection notices. I sent them a demand letter on XX/XX/XXXX, and they completely ignored it of course. If they keep refusing, Were already prepared to take them to court with XXXX. XXXX takes these types of cases extremely serious, but clearly advantage auto sales must think were either a joke, or just not serious.
